Since 1844, Catholic women religious have contributed significantly to the foundation of Manitoba's health, education and social service systems, and have played important roles in parish life and community development. These humble, courageous sisters have surmounted numerous obstacles and challenges to respond to the needs of the poor, sick, oppressed, uneducated, hurt and suffering people.
In 2015 and 2016, the Catholic Health Association of Manitoba (CHAM) will lead a project that will commemorate, render homage and thank all of Manitoba's Catholic women religious. We invite you to take part in this historic moment by:
